Stanley Harding was born in 1925 in Isleham (Newmarket Q1-1925 3B:684), the son of Alec and Elizabeth HARDING (née BROWN).
In 1939 the family were at Omega House, (Station Road ?) Isleham, father [7-5-1902] a steam waggon/heavy lorry driver; mother [10-2-1903; and William HOWARD [10-10-1914] a cowman.(3 closed records)

from www.adf-serials.com.au:- NF990 Mk. I 463 Sqn. 11/10/44 to 6/11/44. JO-Q. ORBS list 11 missions NF990 with the first Flushing 11-Nov-1944 & last Ems-Wesser Canal. The same crew flew both missions. Lost 06-07/11/44, Gravenhorst, all crew became POW's.
The crew listed in the ORBS were:-
Pilot F/O C J Lynch RAAF- POW, F/Engineer Sgt Haywood RAF- POW, Nav Sgt G Sunderland RAF- KIA, B/Aimer F/S R C Rodgers RAF- KIA, Wireless Op F/S E A Woolmer RAAF- POW, Mid Upper Gunner Sgt S Harding RAF bailed out & died of injuries, Rear Gunner Sgt E Evans RAF.

Nothing so far has been found about where he was between 6th October and 25th November, nor where he may be buried
